Mood: boredboredboredbored
So it's the holidays and we all know what that means: serial tv watching yay! I started off with Battlestar Galactica the remake and it's freaking awesome but also kind of scary, not death or gore scary just omigod I can't believe they did that scary, which I guess is a mark of how good the show is; that they can make us care enough about the characters that we mind when scary things happen to them. What I'm also digging is the moral ambiguity. So you have these people, well actually one of them is a machine, and they're basically responsible for the genocide of the entire human race and yet we (and by we I mean me) can't help liking the weaselly little guy. Same with the robot, she is obviously up to no good but I can SEE WHERE SHE'S COMING from. They're selling machines believing in love and religion, gotta love that shit.
Also since the last post was about GRAPH GENERATORS (sorry mehr) I thought I'd add a lighter note with the following:
Random literary quote of the day:
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
-Hamlet
And virtual cookies to everyone who knows where the post title comes from.
Peace out people.
